Nigel and Christine thank you for visiting their website and cordially invite you to visit their “traditional pub” in person, which can be found in Cross Lane, Newport.

We offer  a great pint and pleasant surroundings in which to enjoy them but don’t take our word for it – come and experience it personally.

Throughout the week we offer a SNACK MENU (TUES – SAT 12.00 -15.00)
Our pub is DOG AND CHILD FRIENDLY but if you wish to bring your dog please forewarn us as we have three of our own, one of which does not like other dogs.

Throughout the week we support a number of teams playing Darts, Pool, Shove Ha’penny, and Petanque and are currently looking for people to play in the Domino and Cribbage leagues. We probably have the CHEAPEST POOL TABLE on the Island whilst for the non-technophobes’ we offer free WI-FI AND FREE MOBILE CHARGING! Among other games available we have two rings boards, table skittles and are currently trying get an “Aunt Sally” and a “Toad in the Hole” game, all of which are traditional games from yesteryear.

We also stock, what is probably, the largest selection of bottled Real Ales  on the island and endeavour to have at least one guest cask ale available for those discerning drinkers.
